Our Story
Justice. Kindness. Humility.
“Would it be that we were all able to successfully integrate justice, kindness and humility!” — the Honourable Peter Quinlan, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Western Australia, September 2018 Brief Magazine, on the words of Micah 6:8.
The Name
The name “M 6:8 Legal” refers to the words of Micah 6:8 which states, ‘do justly, and to love kindness, and walk humbly with your God’. These words define our values, and informs our approach to the practice of law.
Our Belief
The words of Micah 6:8 - acting justly, loving mercy and walking humbly encapsulates our worldview. At M 6:8 Legal, we believe that fairness and justice, balanced with kindness and humility can be achievable, and we are playing our part to bring about that reality.

Our Founder's Inspiration
Growing up, our founder Mabel Chua heard her father, a businessman, telling stories about the benefits and importance of having a trusted lawyer in business. Stories about lawyers who were skillful and strategic, who worked with integrity, and who genuinely cared. Through the help of his lawyer, Mabel’s father was able to secure the best terms in contract negotiations, settle disputes efficiently, and even navigated his businesses through the perilous Asian financial crisis era.
Having been deeply impacted by his lawyer’s help, Mabel’s father encouraged her to pursue a career in law so that she can also make a difference in others. To help bring about fair outcomes in various legal situations.
When Mabel discovered Micah 6:8, she was further challenged to discover and unpack its values and draw others to do likewise.

Chinese and Italian languages are spoken to cater for clients who prefer to communicate in their native language.
